When your employees want to manually create overtime request. First of all, you need to define overtime request flow. Where you will define approving authorities for overtime request. You can add different employees as approving authority. Overtime request will rotate from employee to employee as you define inflow.
To know more about how to set overtime request flow. Follow the following steps.

At bottom of the navbar click the master's tab.

The above step will open new tabs in the dropdown. Click system masters.

In System Master click the request flow tab.

Select company from the dropdown.

Go to request type and select overtime request from the dropdown.

In node type drop-down select flow for the node type.

The flow will affect on employee according to the authority type of an employee.

If a person has more than one authorities at a time then flow with higher authority will affect him.

Click the Define Flow button to define a flow.

A pop-up will appear to add a request flow.

Click add node button to add nodes.

It will display a row for the node.

In node, the column adds a nodetype.

You can define node type according to the designation of an employee.

If you want to select an employee as node type then select the employee from the Employee column.

Click the next column to define the priorities of flow (flow rotation number).

Click the delete button to delete the row.

Click the save button to save flow.

Click the Cancel button to close the popup.

After adding flow it will look like.

Click the change flow button to change anything from flow if you want.

It will open a pop up to change/delete anything.

Change of request flow is the same as add of request flow as mentioned in the above section of the document.

Finally, click the save button to save changes.
