When an employer wants to allocate an asset to employees. First of all, the employer needs to create an asset type.
To know more about how to manage asset type. Follow the following steps.
- In the navbar click the master's tab.
- The above step will open new tabs in the dropdown. Click the general master's tab.
- Click the asset types tab.
- The above step will open the asset type listing page.
- Click create button to create asset type.
- Field with red sterics is necessary to fill.
- The above step will open a popup to create an asset type.
- Enter asset type name.
- Click the Active checkbox if the asset type is active. If the checkbox is not clicked then it means that the asset type is not active.
- Enter asset type description.
- Click the save button to create the asset type.
- Asset type will be created and look like.
- Click the edit button to edit asset type.
- Click on edit button will open a popup to edit asset type. Edit process is the same as like create process. Repeat step 8-11 from the above section of the document to edit asset type.
- Click the View button to view the asset type.
- Click the delete button to delete asset type.
- Click on the delete button will open a confirmation popup to delete asset type.
- Click yes if you want to delete.
- Click no if you don't want to delete.
