Employers can create a Review Cycle for evaluation, In which set the appraisals and appraiser types for evaluation. Also, employers can select employees one by one or use groups of employees here.
There are the following steps:
1. Click on the Performance tab and then select Review Cycle in dropdown.
2. Click Create button to create the Review Cycle
3. Popup screen appears to create the review cycle
4. Write the Name for the review cycle
5. Select the start date for the review cycle
6. Select the end date for the review cycle
7. If Linear Flow is not marked true its means that if evaluators or appraisers are more than one then all of them get an evaluation at once and if it is marked true then evaluation will be in flow ( Flow: the appraiser flow while creating review cycle > appraisers setting will get evaluation accordingly)
8. Custom Grade means, that the appraisers can edit or give the custom grade while the evaluation
9. Write a description
10. Select criteria, Custom Criteria means you can select employees for this review cycle by selecting one by one employee, department, beach, etc on the next page and Group means use a group of employees for the review cycle which you have set in Review Cycle Group.
11. Click on the next button and the second page will appear.
12. If you select a group in the criteria then you can select the group here.
13. Also, you can add employees in this review cycle by different criteria in Criteria, you can select employees one by one or select department, beach, etc.
14. Click on the next button for the next page
15. In the Appraisal setting select appraisal types which you want to use in this review cycle.
16. Assign by means who will handle objective assignment against respective appraisal type. There are three options Manager, Self and Immediately
16.1 If select Manager then the manager will set objectives against respective appraisal
16.2 If select Self then the employee will set his/her own objectives against respective appraisal
16.3 If select Immediately then the employer have to set all objectives on the same screen below ( like creativity )
17. Define Objective means if employer wants to assign objectives which are already defined or created in the Objectives module otherwise employer have to manually add the objectives How to create define objective
18. Objective Allowed, means count limit for objectives against the appraisal
19. Give weight against the appraisal type, sum of all weightage should be 100.
20. As above, set the appraisers in appraiser setting and also set the appraisal types against the appraiser for evaluations, check Negative marking box true so the appraiser can mark negative while evaluation, set weight against appraiser and sum of all weight should be 100. ( if appraiser type is Employee then selection box will required next appraiser type )
21. Object Configs > Provider instruction for Objective setting true check box then editor will show below to write some information
22. Click the save button to save the review cycle
23. saving the review cycle click on Start Assigning button to start objects assiging in Company objective assignment.
24. After assigning the attributes against appraisal types click on the stop assigning the button
25. Now Click start button to Start Evaluation for employees
26. When all evaluations done click on the stop button to stop evaluation.
